As the business process evolve over the time and if the ERP system is static and no longer support the strategic plan of the organization, if older ERP vendor is out of business, legacy ERP system has been customized over customized many times over the years, replacing an ERP system is an opportunity to refine, simplify or expand the functionality of the organization. Like anything else ERP systems are also tends to become obsolete and less effective with age. Even after four decades since their inception, developed and reached a level of what they are today are imperfect and not sufficient enough to satisfy the overall expectations of an organization.
